Beautiful City Productions was born from a shared vision, a sense of divine calling, and a deep love for the transformative power of live theater. The idea for this ministry has been stirring in our hearts for years, shaped by our personal experiences in theater and our shared desire to invite people to encounter the love of Christ through the arts.
The spark for Beautiful City Productions began with a simple truth: God has uniquely equipped us for this moment. Our journey started in college, where we first met as cast members in a production of Godspell. That shared experience planted a seed, showing us how theater could communicate timeless truths in a fresh, engaging way. Years later, while serving as a pastor in Chickasha, we found ourselves drawn back to community theater. It became more than just a creative outlet—it became a way to connect with people, share stories, and explore the intersection of faith and art.
Over the years, we honed our skills and deepened our love for theater. From acting and music direction to technical direction and nonprofit leadership, each step felt like preparation for something greater. We witnessed firsthand how live theater has the power to bring people together, spark conversations, and create moments of connection that linger long after the curtain falls. It’s this unique ability to touch hearts and minds that makes theater such a compelling platform for ministry.
Beautiful City Productions is the culmination of these experiences and a response to God’s call on our lives. Our mission is simple yet profound: to use the art of storytelling to share the good news of God’s love. We believe that every performance has the potential to change lives—whether through the message conveyed on stage, the relationships formed within the cast and crew, or the way an audience is moved to reflect, laugh, or feel.
Live theater is an experience like no other. It’s alive, collaborative, and ever-changing, creating a space where the sacred and the creative meet. Through Beautiful City Productions, we aim to bring this dynamic art form to our community in a way that inspires, entertains, and invites people to encounter the beauty and hope of Christ. Whether you’re stepping onto the stage, working behind the scenes, or watching from the audience, you’re part of something extraordinary. Together, we’re creating not just a show, but an experience that reflects the transformative power of God’s love.
